Det var slet ikke meningen, at lokalet på Holbergsgade skulle være en butik. Det skulle bruges til et andet projekt, men da det blev sat på pause, stod vi pludselig med et lokale og en ny mulighed.

Med hjælp fra gode mennesker blev rummet hurtigt fyldt med kunsthåndværk, farver og finurlige ting. I foråret 2022 blev det til MADE FOR ME cph.

Siden er flere kunstnere, designere og små mærker kommet til. Fælles for dem er ting med personlighed, godt design og en historie bag.

Our largest product group comes from Danish designers and artisans, which have many environmental benefits. This is, for example, minimal emissions from transport, a small production with very little waste, a focus on durability and not rapidly changing trends. Furthermore, the working environment is, for the most part, characterized by creativity, joy and passion.

When we take in small brands that produce their goods outside Denmark's borders, these have a purpose or mission. Here, it is often the human aspect that is in focus. These projects are versatile and can be anything from preserving a special craft to creating better production conditions in the coffee industry. But there are also brands such as Coucou Suzette, which of course work with better plastic alternatives and good working conditions, but where the most important thing is to create smiles and joy in everyday life.
