Katarina draws (female) life and creates smiles and recognition. Her works reflect situations we know and can relate to. With a humorous look, she looks straight into situations and relationships where we see ourselves or those we care about. She uses her pictures to tell stories about the different facets of life, the innocence of childhood and her role as mother, friend, daughter and woman. She pays tribute to caregivers (men as well as women), the personal struggles, the break from commitments.
