OKAYCopenhagen

Louise Krogh is a textile designer and esthetician with a background from Denmark's Design School. Her brand, OKAYcopenhagen, is a manifestation of the passion for yarn and textiles where she strives to create products that evoke memories and emotions, while at the same time bringing something new to the world.

The goal is to create works that are not only beautiful, but also tell a story, carry a legacy and create a connection between past and present. Louise is driven by a playful approach to design, where functionality, expression and humor take up the most space. She works with an inexhaustible curiosity about technique, process and colors and is currently preoccupied with creating a more contemporary look at the traditional quilting technique, among other things with puff quilts, and the integration of vintage textiles with modern ones.

Louise's inspiration comes especially from the odd and unexpected encounter between the governing and the random - like finding a forgotten lollipop in an old coat. It is in this playful dynamic that her works take shape in the bright studio in Søborg.
